EXAMPLE OF AN HONEST PRAYER FOR SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST
Jesus Christ, if you are real, if you died on a cross in Jerusalem, if you are God's Son, maybe even God of a Trinity, whatever that means then, show me.
It doesn't make sense to me, but then I'm finite, a bird brain, and you're God, infinite brain.
So, don't let me be fooled by the Devil, because I believe in only one God.
So if you are really God and only one God or Trinity then, make me believe it by faith.
I only want to believe in the true God & so please direct me to the truth and keep me there until I die.
I know I'm a sinner, but I don't believe it because it feels good to sin. But if you want me to, I'll confess it anyway. I'm a sinner and God is love.
Jesus was a miracle working prophet that claimed to be equal to God.
If Jesus is the only acceptable sacrifice to God the Father as some say, then how can I know unless you send someone to teach me?
Teach me what sinner, salvation, Heaven & Hell mean. Give me the power to follow God, the true God, whoever he is.
No matter what, I know I can't get into Heaven by my power, but only if you let me in.
So, bring me happiness, truth and salvation, today and after death. Amen
