THE SPIRITUAL JOURNEY OF JOHN L. DECOSSAUX
DEDICATED TO: Americans, French, Belgians, Germans. Dutch, Swedes, Atheists and everyone.
I learned to pray to God.
I learned to read the Bible.
I learned what churches taught about the Bible.
I tried to become friends with God.
I admitted that I was a sinner & I needed a Savior now and after death.
I searched for the true church. I found two true churches and left them.
I dabbled in Eastern religion, meditation & self help and I left it.
I went back to Christianity & a previously true church.
Now I'm leaving that true church again to search for a better church, but I'll probably keep in touch with my old church and get to know new ones,
not expecting perfection this time.
I won't expect the impossible from this church or any church or people, so maybe it will work out for me. I think the key for me is to relax and enjoy freedom from doctrines and bask in the light of God's love once in a while.
I will stick with Christianity only because I believe--that Jesus believed--that he was God and proved it enough for me to believe it.
I'm taking a chance & betting my future on Jesus Christ
and walking with him until I die.
